The front and back covers of the chestnut brown faux leather Bible feature an oval vignette surrounded by an elaborate heat-debossed filigree leaf design. Brown topstitching creates a sense that the oval is appliquéd. The gold-foiled title is showcased inside the oval, where the full Bible translation reference and the abbreviated form are also displayed in heat-debossed letters.
The spine features the version reference, gold-foiled faux spine ribbing, and the gold-foiled title. Beautiful gilt-edged pages and a coordinating brown satin ribbon marker add to the appeal of this compact Bible.
The flexible lay-flat binding and soft flexcover mean it opens flat for easy reading. Inside, you'll find reader-friendly subheadings—a later addition to the original text, a double-column format layout, the words of Christ printed in red ink to highlight them, a thematic Scripture verse finder, and a one-year Bible reading plan. The Bible comes packaged in a full-color printed cardboard sleeve.
Although 7-point type is considered a small point, given that the compact Bible contains the entire KJV text, its use is an understandable necessity to limit the size of the book. A presentation page is included for you to complete to mark a special occasion.
